"La nave era piena di sangue", dichiara Nilufer Cetin che viaggiava con suo figlio di un anno, sul traghetto. Oggi, tornata ad Istanbul, racconta così quei momenti di terrore. "Con mio figlio siamo rimasti in cabina a giocare mentre fuori si sentivano gli spari. Ma non ho avuto paura. Non avevo bisogno di proteggere mio figlio. Tutti sapevano che c'era un bambino a bordo. L'ho protetto restando in cabina. Le tendine degli oblò erano chiuse e così non si vedeva quello che succedeva sul ponte. Si udivano solo gli spari e le voci. Poi io ho messo una maschera anti-gas e gli ho fatto indossare un giubbetto salvagente". In her arms was the reason for her early release:  her 13-month-old baby, Turker Kaan Cetin, whom she said Israeli authorities did not wish to keep in prison, our reporter Alexander Christie-Miller says. Ms Cetin said Israel forces “confiscated everything” from the detainees and her husband, the ship’s engineer, remains in custody.  - Timesonline
